Check out the sound and shaking from a 2.9 magnitude earthquake near Summerville, SC at 10:38 pm tonight. It sounds like and explosion. Watch the cat too. Thanks for the video Kathy Lane. FYI - STRONG LANGUAGE - I mean, if I felt this, I’m not sure what would’ve come out of my mouth!

8:37 am - this is the most insane video I’ve seen of the wildfire yet. It was raging near Wyandot Ct. in The Reserve at Walkers Woods early this morning. Heroic firefighters were able to suppress the fire and save all of these homes. Video via Greg Staff.

Big shout out to Myrtle Beach Fire Department C shift Engine 1 crew and all the firefighters from here and around the state for all their support and hard work!

CJ Pahis was heading out of the Murrells Inlet jetties to go fishing when he spotted something you definitely don’t expect…a deer swimming straight out to sea. Clearly disoriented, the poor guy was headed the wrong way. CJ gently guided him back toward land and stayed with him until he made it safely to shore, where he took off into the woods. Huge thanks to CJ for stepping in and saving this little fella!
