In 2007, Fr. Robert Francis Prevost, then prior general of the Augustinians, celebrated vespers with Pope Benedict XVI in Pavia, Italy, the site of the tomb of St. Augustine. The future Pope Leo XIV gave these comments for a documentary on Pope Benedict we produced the following year called “The Papacy of Reason — Inside the Mind of Benedict XVI.”
