When the EFF stood up in today’s council meeting to raise question about the financial standing of the Municipality and as to why are workers of Nkomazi local Municipality not paid their full salaries, the ruling party unleashes securities to assault and beat up EFF councillors. The municipality is bankrupt because of corruption and mismanagement of public funds and the Mayor requested a permission to borrow another R100 million on top of the existing debts. The EFF firmly rejected that request.
