no one can ever convince me that having a bride price is bad & shouldn’t be done. in my culture the man has to buy the bride gifts as well (clothes, jewelry,luggage and other items to symbolize you giving her everything she needs to leave her parents house) & prove you can actually provide for her. that eatssss down if a man can’t provide why want him??
