In Israel, the position is that until approval is granted to join the United States in strikes against Iran, additional U.S. aerial refueling aircraft will not be permitted to land at Ben Gurion Airport—partly due to the costs such landings impose on the facility. Should Israel join the campaign, it would become possible to bring additional refueling aircraft into Israeli Air Force bases and airports.
