This is a problem. But it is the least bad of three options. Jabareen refuses to call Hamas a terror organization. Of course I think the Joint List should, and I understand why many Israelis find this hard to accept. The other two options are a unity government where Netanyahu avoids answering for October 7, or another election on his terms. A minority government that starts with outside Joint List support is the one that honors the results of the election, holds Netanyahu responsible for 10/7, reverses the judicial coup, and helps preserve Israel's Jewish and democratic future. Smotrich called Hamas an asset. Netanyahu let Qatari millions reach Hamas for years. Why do none of them have to answer for that?

Three years ago, Michael, who was 9, and Amalia, who was 6, called the police from the safe room in their home in Kfar Aza. Their parents, Roi and Smadar Idan, had just been murdered. The children told the dispatcher where they were, and then said it over and over: our parents are dead. They went back to hiding in the closet. Help didn't reach them until 19:20 that evening. This recording was played for the first time tonight at the opening of "The Space That Remains" at the Peres Center in Jaffa, an exhibit put together by the October Council. This was incredibly hard to listen to, but I think we owe it to them to hear it anyway.

Not an endorsement, but this is a great ad from Beyachad. It features Ben Gurion and Begin, who spent most of their careers as bitter rivals. Ben Gurion wouldn't say Begin's name from the Knesset podium. Years later, he admitted he'd misjudged him. The message: a Bennett-Lapid government would write a constitution with the Declaration of Independence as its preamble. Also, the Ben Gurion matcha moment is great.

Where is the World Health Organization (WHO)? Where is UNRWA? Where is the ICRC? Issuing condemnation after condemnation about IDF ops in and around Shifa Hospital and now, silence. The hospital is full of staff affiliated with these orgs and no one spoke up as terrorists strolled in with hostages.
