Roman Reigns responds to the constant online hate and criticism over his position in WWE, saying the numbers have always backed him up. “We’re in a world now where views are currency. And when you’re speaking about wrestling, if you want to maximize your views, you use my name. Everybody’s opinion matters now, so go online and voice it. But to say, ‘Oh, they put you in a position,’ no, the numbers back up the positioning, always. The guy I just beat, LA Knight, hell of a talent, hell of a merch mover. The Big Dog moved more merch than LA Knight does, and that was 8 years ago. So the position has always been verified. But they don’t always understand the metrics and what goes behind the business.” (Sam Roberts)

Legendary WWE composer Jim Johnston says current WWE themes are “generic” and “awful,” as he feels they don’t say anything about a wrestler’s character and could easily be given to someone else. He also believes it’s one of the main reasons WWE is no longer able to create mainstream stars. (Ropes N Riffs | YouTube)

Sami Zayn gets emotional while paying tribute to Benjamin Satterley, aka PAC. “I don’t have it in me. I don’t have the words. I tried, I tried all week. I gotta find the perfect picture to show how close we were? It doesn’t exist. I have 100s of pictures of us.” (WWE | YouTube)

Roman Reigns responds to YouTuber Conrad Thompson calling him overrated. “The truth is, are there a lot of people watching that guy’s show? You already know I’m a metric mover. They know I get views and all that stuff, so it’s fine. But if they want to use my name to get views, that’s the industry right now. All you got to do is scroll a little bit and you see who he’s a fan of and who he’s connected to.” (Club Shay Shay)

Roman Reigns addresses 946 and LA Knight backstage after his match. “Everybody wants what I have. This is the position that you wanna be in. Can’t you feel the envy? Not too long ago, this was the second-prize title. Now it’s the number one coveted prize in the game. Because of the Tribal Chief.” (WWE #MITB Post-Show | YouTube)
