Trigger warning: violence ⚠️ Video footage from October 7th, 2023. The Idan family from Kibbutz Nahal Oz, Israel, was filmed by Hamas terrorists after members of the family were taken hostage in their own home. In this footage, the Idan children can be heard crying to their parents after witnessing Hamas militants murder their older sister, Maayan Idan. Maayan was 18 years old when she was murdered by a gunshot to the head fired by Hamas terrorists from Gaza. The children's father, Tzachi Idan, was kidnapped to Gaza and held captive by Hamas for two months before being killed in December 2023. His body was returned to Israel in February 2025 and he was laid to rest. May their memories be a blessing.

Those who want peace should extend a hand, and the Jews will extend theirs in return. Those who want to stay alive and live in peace should not attack Jews. The videos Hamas filmed and proudly shared from October 7. On October 7, 2023, Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorists, along with Gazan civilians, invaded Israel and carried out a massacre. Today's attack against the balls of Hezbollah terrorists was a result of them opening a war on Israel on October 8th. Hamas is trying to play humanitarian - don't buy it. Hamas released a video showing the 'compassionate freedom fighters' releasing a woman and her children from captivity. This is a sick and twisted LIE. Avital Aladjem, a member of Kibbutz Sufa, is the woman in this video. The children are not her own. On Saturday, terrorists broke into her home, killed her friends and neighbors, and took her and some of the now orphaned children into Gaza. As war broke out around them, shots ringing in their ears, the terrorists ran and left her behind enemy lines. I know there’s a war in Gaza and I also want it to end, but the media is showing only one side of what’s happening. I follow hundreds of such accounts from Gaza, and this also came out today from inside Gaza (link in the first comment). Why doesn’t the media show a full and truthful picture of reality? Who does this serve? And more importantly: why are the Israeli hostages being starved while this is happening?
