In 2025, you were told by MN Republicans that a “major victory” was secured in the state budget by “removing illegal immigrants” from taxpayer funded healthcare. That was a lie. Illegal immigrants residing in MN who claim asylum status (nearly all) are eligible. This year, $86 million will be spent on MinnesotaCare. Next year, $159 Million. That absurd increase in spending is your tax dollars providing free healthcare for illegals. Republicans in MN should stop caring about the appearance of competence, and needing to “deliver” fake wins to voters. They should deliver real results for them instead.

Passed a bill to ban that 131-2 off the house floor. It was included in the non-controversial provision of the 2025 elections omnibus bill. Would have taken away the fraud and corruption incentive structure. Then in the middle of the night, with 24hrs of session remaining, the MN Chamber of Commerce convinced the Speaker to kill it, despite it being 80% of Democrat campaign spending to our 15%. And despite it being Conservative policy
