I actually asked PinkPantheress about this in my interview with her a few months ago. She said one of her main goals is to mentor and develop the next generation of artists, but not necessarily through the traditional record label route

Isaiah Rashad speaks on WATS WRONG, baiting Kendrick Lamar into a feature & why he no longer wants to work with his childhood heroes 👇🏾 “I was baiting him (Kendrick) I was talking shit for like two weeks, I was like you’re not fucking with me” “By the time I could have a Lil Wayne verse I didn’t want one no more. All my heroes from college, I didn’t wanna work with no more except Kendrick”

One of my fav MJ performances ever because you can really hear his kid voice transitioning into his adult voice. The way his brothers look at him with pride…ugh 🥹

PinkPantheress faced a lot of backlash when she said a song didn’t need to be longer than 2 minutes. I asked her if she still feels the same way two years later “Nothing has to be anything for it to be good...Creativity is a spectrum and we don’t have to stick to rules”

Thank you! I had to ask Punch why SZA added 15 songs to SOS and called it a ‘deluxe’ instead of packaging it as a new project. Shoutout to Punch for keeping it real 🙏🏽

I had to tell Rapsody what it meant to hear her verse on “Complexion” from To Pimp a Butterfly as a teenager and how much it impacted me. Over a decade later, it’s still one of my favorite verses in rap EVER

Isaiah Rashad speaks on his early days at TDE and not getting a warm welcome, having to prove himself and being mentored by ScHoolboy Q “I thought that I would get some by the books schooling in rap that I never got, I thought I would get a big embrace but it was like who’s this fucking kid, why y’all sign him for?… I probably got the most hands on lessons from Q”

NEW INTERVIEW WITH PUNCH (TDE) OUT NOW 🎬 TDE shaped so much of how I hear music today. From the sound to the songwriting & storytelling, so getting to talk with and pick the brain of one of the minds behind it all was so surreal. You DON’T wanna miss this one 👀🤞🏾
