🗣️ Arne Slot on Hugo Ekitike's sending off: "I think I said when I got my red card against Everton, that's always stupid. "...I'm old-fashioned. I'm 47, and old, maybe. I haven't played at this level but I did score a few goals, and if I'd scored a goal like this, I would have turned around and walked up to Federico Chiesa and said, 'This goal is all about you!'"

![🗣️ Virgil van Dijk on the #LFC U13s coming to the game v Atletico: "I don't know if you can tell that already in the media [the U13s coming on the pitch], maybe a surprise for them as well - but now you've ruined it as well! ![🗣️ Arne Slot addresses Milos Kerkez's dive 🏊♂️ "I said to him it wasn't smart, and he replied to me that he felt an arm on his back. "But let's be clear: it wasn't a penalty [laughs]."](https://image.24vids.com/tw-1967294869380243513/amplify_video_thumb/1967294322291687424/img/1w6D3gIFVAZYxc4u.jpg)
![🗣️ Arne Slot on Alisson & Ekitike's injuries: "Normally, when a player feels something and goes to the floor and doesn't come back on to the pitch - despite what they [Galatasaray] did 112 times, being injured and coming back on the pitch without any pain - our players don't do this. "If my player is on the floor, I 9/10 times fear the worst - I mean, he can't continue, and that's what happened with Alisson."](https://image.24vids.com/tw-1973310742284615876/amplify_video_thumb/1973309922176618496/img/eq3aanD_oKWX5WCH.jpg)

🗣️ Arne Slot on the disturbance to the Diogo Jota tribute "I don't think there's a bad intention to it, because the fans of Crystal Palace and everywhere around the world has paid huge respect to Diogo and Andre... "We will see Friday when Bournemouth come to our stadium how respectful things will be... "Maybe this fan was so happy for Palace to be in the Charity Shield that he forgot in that moment."

!["He's [Konate] almost an example of our season - he's been so unlucky. "He'll play 89 mins very well and then one moment ruins our game, his game... not always about him, but a few times that happened... but footballers make mistakes." 🗣️ Arne Slot on Ibrahima Konate 🇫🇷 #LFC](https://image.24vids.com/tw-2021748844845764807/amplify_video_thumb/2021747882194350080/img/GJpS9tGe8WlK5sDf.jpg)
