🐈 so… the reason i actually went live today is…the t-shirt i wore yesterday seemed to make some people uncomfortable, and i genuinely didn’t know. i thought it was just a regular t-shirt, but apparently it’s related to a movie that many people in Kazakhstan find very offensive. i heard it’s a black comedy that portrays them in a bad way. yes, the t-shirt shirt with holes in it. i didn’t know about it yesterday, but after seeing that some people were uncomfortable because of it, i’d like to apologize first. i threw the shirt away immediately. even if i didn’t know, if it made people uncomfortable, it’s still my mistake, so i’m sorry. i got rid of the shirt right away. 🐈 actually, i wanted to apologize first thing this morning, before the concert. but when i checked the time in Kazakhstan, it was still the middle of the night. so i thought it’d be better to go live when people there would actually be awake to see it. i think it’s around 8 or 9 a.m. there now. so as soon as i got back, i started this live. i’m sorry. i’m sincerely sorry, and i’ll reflect on this. 🐈 i’ll delete the TikTok too. also… i found out that the person who created the dance is also from Kazakhstan. the choreographer. i truly had no idea. i’m sorry. i really didn’t know. i’ll be more careful from now on. 🥺🫳🏻🫳🏻

🐈⬛ if you asked people, ‘what’s the most enhypen-like thing?’… most people wouldn’t answer with a music genre. no one says, ‘when i think of enhypen, i think of hip-hop.’ ‘when i think of enhypen, i think of pop.’ ‘when i think of enhypen, i think of rock.’ nobody answers like that. 🐈⬛ honestly, that’s always been the kind of image i wanted us to have as artists. because every artist has what you’d call their roots. you need to have that foundation. you have to keep improving while never losing what makes you you, and that’s already really difficult. but if what defines an artist ends up being a music genre, i think it becomes several times, even tens of times harder. every next step becomes difficult. 🐈⬛ that’s why i really like the fact that, whether it’s engenes or the general public… even when we try a completely new genre, come up with new ideas, or present things in a different way, if you compare this album to the last one, the music genres are so different that you’d almost wonder, ‘did the same artist really release both of these albums?’ but even then, people rarely say, ‘enhypen has changed so much.’ ‘this isn’t the enhypen i knew.’ or, ‘this doesn’t feel like enhypen’s color anymore.’ you hardly hear comments like that. 🐈⬛ so i think that’s probably one of our team’s greatest strengths. we never lose what makes us us, while still being able to experiment and try all kinds of different things without that feeling of risk. when you think about it… isn’t that true?
