FURTHER ADO was simply spectacular yesterday at Keeneland!! 🏇💨 The 2yo Gun Runner colt owned by Spendthrift Farm, broke his maiden in his 3rd career start by 20 LENGTHS earning an incredible 114 ESF, the highest across North America yesterday and the highest of any 2yo in 2025 for trainer Brad H. Cox Racing with Iradortiz aboard! He went 1 1/16 miles on the dirt in 1:43.52, travelling 5,627 feet (5,610 ft. in 1 1/16) in 237.80 strides! Check out his horse profile on Equibase:

On this day in racing history on March 5, 1995... Cigar romped by 7 1/2 lengths in the G1 Gulfstream Park Handicap under a hand ride by Jerry Bailey for trainer Bill Mott! In 1995, Cigar put together a flawless 10-for-10 5yo campaign, with 8 of those wins being in G1 races. From 10/28/94 to 7/13/96, he won an incredible 16 consecutive races, including 10 G1's. A two-time Horse of the Year (1995 & 1996) and Eclipse Award Champion Older Horse (1995 & 1996), Cigar was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2002.
