FASCINATING: "We're looking to partner with 15 different sports leagues" to make team indexes as well as individual athlete indexes (they've met w/ ATP and PGA). MLB and NHL are already up and running. All told we could see thousands of sports indexes & futures, and ultimately ETFs - FutureSports' co-founder Leigh Taylforth on Trillions w/ Jodie Gunzberg feat Vildana Hajric on what is an audacious project. DEBATE: Leverage ETFs make up of 13% ETF trading but 1% of aum so a) not that big and b) being used as directed. On flip, their volume up 10x in 5yrs and 2x stock long/short ratio is 19x mostly chip/tech so could exacerbate selloff.. me, Todd Sohn, James Seyffart debate on Trillions

I asked Matt Hougan on ETF IQ today about my one (slight) worry re Bitcoin which is are OGs still into it(bc clearly the ETFs and MSTR are), or are they cashing out bc they don’t like that it’s mainstream a la how kids left Facebook when their parents joined? His answer:
