In August of 1970, Eric released his first solo studio album, 'Eric Clapton.' This performance of "Let It Rain," which appears on the record, is taken from a 70th birthday celebration for Eric that occurred at London's Royal Albert Hall in May of 2015; the shows were filmed and released as 'Slowhand at 70.'

The band features Steve Winwood on keys and vocals, Ric Grech on bass, Ginger Baker on drums, and Eric on guitar. Blind Faith released their only studio album in August of 1969.
