$2M a year is the sweet spot. Everybody wants to get rich but most people don’t understand the problems that come with it. New levels new devils. I’ve been on every side of wealth. Dead ass broke to having massive success. After $2M a year there is a diminishing return. You start to run out of things to buy while at the same time the problems get bigger, more complex, and harder to solve.

In 2019 I had a $50,000,000 deal to sell 80% of my company to a private equity group. They called me and asked I drive 5 hours to meet them for breakfast just outside of NYC that Friday. I agreed and drove down the night before really excited to meet my new partners. I showed up to the breakfast, sat down, ordered an iced coffee and an omelette, and then the guys from the private equity group told me they were killing the deal. Just like that, it was done. I drove the 5 hours to get back home in complete silence. I couldn’t believe it. I’d been preparing for this deal for two years. 2.5 years later I sold that business for $115,000,000. It always works out as long as you don’t give up.

Being poor will give you mental health problems. A lack of money is an easy way to anxiety and depression disorders. You’re under a constant state of fear. If anything goes wrong you could starve or become homeless. You’re scarce on resources, of course you have anxiety. Money is important.

Every millionaire has been through this. It’s the price of admission for success.

I’m a 10th grade dropout with a 9 figure net worth. How tf did I get here? Self education. I stacked knowledge from coaches, mentors, and advisors that have real world experience and results. Some would say I don’t have an education. I’d argue that I’m more educated than most!

God bless the “work life balance” folks. Somebody needs to work for the insanely obsessed few.
