Woke up to some sad news this morning. Country music outlaw David Allan Coe passed away last night. He never tried to fit in Nashville b/c never needed to. He lived hard, sang honest & gave us songs that still echo in every dive bar, backroad holler & country road across the nation. RIP David Allan Coe September 6, 1939 – April 29, 2026

More violence in Winston-Salem, NC. A mass shooting happened mid morning that resulted in 7 people being shot. Two men (both minors) were pronounced dead at the scene & 5 others (4 females & 1 male) suffered gunshot wounds are hospitalized. Our city has been under democrat leadership for 25 years & has never felt more unsafe & crime ridden. Our schools are failing at scale with every parent looking for the fastest offramp to get their children out of the public school system here.

Winston-Salem had a 'No Kings' rally today. It looked to have about 300 people in total. Almost 100% mentally ill, white, middle/upper class, women and a few beta men. It looked like what I would think a women's AARP conference might look like, but much less attractive.
