This area, in Hälsingland, Sweden, has been home to my ancestors for over 200 years (as far as I know). Walking here, I feel deeply connected. It's incredible to know they once walked these same paths I now walk with my children. I love my country. Älskade Sverige🇸🇪

Skansens valborgsfirande har anor sedan 1800-talet. Brasan tänds av folkdräktsklädda svenskar till manskörens toner. I år vanhedrade man vår svenska tradition genom att sätta en irakisk/egyptisk kvinna i slöja sjungandes på arabiska som huvudnummer. Oerhört skamligt.

”What is truly Scandinavian?” ”Absolutely nothing” According to a Swedish airline, every country has its unique culture, except Scandinavia. Scandinavia has some of the world’s most unique cultures, yet they want us to feel like we're merely the product of multiculturalism.

This is a Swedish elementary school from 1994. This barely exists anymore, and it breaks my heart knowing my children won’t grow up surrounded by their own people. Swedes have a right to exist among other Swedes in Sweden.

I will never accept the claim of ”white privilege”. Our ancestors worked tirelessly — adults and children alike — enduring hunger, hardship, and sacrifice. Everything we have today was built on their struggles, not privilege.

We're meant to cosleep with our infants. I will never understand parents who put their infants in another room and let them scream and cry themselves to sleep. There's a reason they want their mother.
