A man who was aboard a bus that crashed along the N1 highway in Musina said the bus driver fell asleep and lost control of the vehicle. A man who identified himself as the assistant driver claims the man behind the wheel fell asleep and lost control of the bus. “The driver was sleeping, and a police officer woke him up. He told the driver to go to Musina to register and take the fingerprints of the passengers. When the driver started the bus, he was already exhausted and failed to control the bus.”

Residents occupying a block of apartments in the Germiston CBD are being evicted for allegedly failing to pay rent. The red ants have been removing belongings of the occupants this morning from their homes. The City of Ekurhuleni said it obtained an eviction order in june to remove the people for failure to pay teir rental to the metro. The city claims the occupants were sent notices on time to leave the premises.
