ALERT: Airport worker arrested for allegedly stealing a traveler's gun after he tracked it down using an AirTag. Multiple travelers at the Portland International Airport in Oregon reported their firearms missing from their checked bags, which sparked an investigation by the FBI. Through security footage, the FBI found that 51-year-old Terell Wayne Overton had access to the missing guns while loading bags onto the departing flights. One customer had an AirTag in his Glock carrying case and tracked it down to an Alaska Airlines baggage area. The FBI watched the security tapes and tracked Overton, whose movement corresponded to the AirTags. Overton, who was convicted of selling cocaine in 2005, has been charged with theft and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

ALERT: Massive brawl breaks out after a grown man attacks a 13-year-old girl who accidentally sits in a reserved chair at the pool. The incident occurred when a teenager at the Santa Susanna hotel in Catalonia, about 40 miles from Barcelona, sat in a chair that had been used by a different family. The “innocent” 13-year-old British girl was then attacked by a topless man, and another started pulling her hair. One witness said, “He didn’t utter a word, just piled in. It was unbelievable, totally sickening. How could a grown man act like that to anyone, let alone a child?” The teenager suffered an apparent broken nose and left the pool “bloodied.”

ALERT: Man claims he murdered 2 people after they killed his dragon at a mobile home park in North Carolina. Cade Addison Hyskell, 38, broke into 51-year-old Susie Kiger's home at Cedar Grove mobile park, then stabbed her and 40-year-old Joshua Purvis to death. The incident stemmed from the death of Hyskell’s bearded dragon, and Hyskell was searching for 13 individuals who may have been involved with the death of his lizard, according to prosecutors. Prosecutors also noted that a dead bearded dragon was found buried in a yard. Hyskell interrupted the judge at his hearing, shouting “not guilty” as he smiled and even laughed at one point. Hyskell is facing two counts of first-degree murder, each punishable by a life sentence, first-degree burglary, and resisting public officers.

Javon Craword and his wife were visiting a sick relative in the hospital when they started getting alerts from their security cameras inside the home. They checked the footage and saw a live feed of his landlord, who was supposed to be removing dead birds from the attic, having what appears to be s-xual relations with a woman on his couch. Crawford said, “He was walking back and forth naked … He might have been making a sandwich.” Crawford has turned the security footage over to the police, and prosecutors say the landlord could be charged with trespassing or sued for violating portions of a lease agreement.

ALERT: 76-year-old grandmother is dead after a Tesla barrels into her home, going almost 70 miles per hour, in Texas. Martha Avila was in her home putting away groceries when a Tesla, alleged by the driver to be on autopilot, zoomed through a residential neighborhood, flew across a homeowner's yard, and barreled into her home. Doorbell footage captured the car smashing into Avila's home, resulting in her death. 44-year-old Michael Butler, the driver of the Tesla Model 3, says the AutoPilot feature was engaged during the crash, and the incident is currently under investigation.

NEW: Judge tells the mother of a 20-year-old who was murdered that “nothing in this process is fair” as she cries in court. Latisa Perryman’s 20-year-old son, Jarvis Perryman, was shot to death in Euclid Beach Park in Cleveland by Christopher Manning, who pleaded guilty last week. Latisa said to Judge Steven Gall, “I told him it had to be a life in there, because that’s… my son’s life is gone. Why would we do 25 to 32? How is that fair?” Gall responded by saying, “Nothing in this process is fair. There’s no sense of fairness. You’ll never walk out of this court with feeling like you won or got anything back.” Manning was sentenced to between 32 and 37 years for the murder as well as severely injuring Latisa’s 17-year-old nephew.

ALERT: Crocodile that killed a Puerto Vallarta man as a SoCal family watched has been spotted at the beach. Jamie Yetter, her teenage daughter, and her fiancé, Chris Bury, were relaxing by the pool of the Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa when they heard screams coming from the beach. Bury ran over, thinking someone had gotten caught in a riptide and jumped in a kayak to help. Upon further investigation, Bury saw a man, only identified as a 28-year-old man, being mauled by a crocodile. Bury said, “There were no oars. There was really nothing at the beach at all to help. We were just scrambling, trying to do what we could.” Yetter says that signs near the beach do not accurately depict the dangers posed by crocodiles in the water, and their symbol looks more like an iguana. Yetter said, “They didn’t tell us we shouldn’t go swimming. Even the next morning, I went down to the ocean. I assumed the beach would be closed. The beach wasn’t closed. There were no no-swimming signs.”

ALERT: Mother sobs in the street after her husband allegedly shot and killed their 10-year-old twin sons and then committed su*cide. The incident happened in Conoga Park, California, as investigators spent most of the night trying to piece together what happened leading up to the m*rder-su*cide. One woman interviewed at the scene said, “I felt like, even though we might not see their family, we thought that they needed some prayer and some thought, because, like, I don’t know, I know me personally, whether I know them or not, I would want to pray for someone’s healing and just overall as a person, because that’s really sad and I don’t wish that upon anybody.”

NEW: Brothel kingpin swarmed at the motel he manages by a SWAT team in Los Angeles. Ahir Mukeshkumar is the manager of the Stadium Inn and Spa in the infamous Figueroa Corridor. Prosecutors say Mukeshkumar rented 90% of the rooms to men for prostitution, with some of the girls being as young as 14. “Operation Broken Blade” was part of a federal takedown that targeted pimps and human traffickers to stop the illegal s*x industry plaguing the Figueroa Corridor. In up to a dozen simultaneous raids, 10 defendants were arrested, including 6 men from LA’s infamous Hoover Gang. Hoover Gang targets foster children and runaways, forcing them into trafficking by violence and even branding them with tattoos. LA’s top federal prosecutor, Bill Essayli, labeled the Hoover Gang the worst of the worst.

BREAKING: Body found in the chimney of a Queens school after a janitor called an exterminator for a foul stench. An exterminator was called to Anthony J. Pranzo School to help determine the source of the smell, and when he opened the ash dump in the chimney, he saw a shoe and then felt a leg. Law enforcement said there has been construction on the building and is asking the crews if anyone is missing. NYPD’s Emergency Service Unit is in the process of removing the body, and the medical examiner will determine the cause of death. Luckily, no students were at the building as school is out for the summer.

ALERT: Hotel in New York City had to be evacuated after a woman sprayed bear spray into the building's HVAC system. Police are searching for the woman who sprayed bear spray on the 20th floor of the DoubleTree by Hilton New York Downtown. According to authorities, an altercation over luggage broke out, and the woman used the spray to attack a victim, whom she knows and attended the Pride event with on Sunday. Hundreds had to be evacuated as the mace spread through the hotel’s air-conditioning system. EMT’s treated dozens of guests for sore throats, coughing, and breathing issues. The woman fled the scene, and police are still searching for her.

ALERT: Woman arrested after using her access to the sensitive court database to warn members of a drug trafficking operation who had arrest warrants. Crystal Lawson, 32, was hired in 2022 as a Juvenile Probation Officer for the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice before being terminated from that role for a battery charge later that year. Although Lawson was fired, her access to the court database was not cut off. Between January and May 2026, Lawson used the database 106 times to search for active criminals being investigated for drug trafficking. Lawson unlawfully found multiple active, unserved arrest warrants and leaked that information to the criminals. Orange County Sheriff's Office stated on Instagram, “These leaks resulted in lost evidence, unrecovered assets, and at least one flight to avoid arrest.” Lawson was charged with 113 felony counts of unauthorized access, each punishable by up to 5 years in prison.

ALERT: Father loses part of his leg while saving his 2-year-old daughter from getting hit by a car in California. Jordan Stannard, 38, was putting his daughter, Sadie, into the family's car when he saw a car speeding toward the vehicle in Venice. "I literally just threw her (Sadie) into the car… I remember the truck fully hitting my body and hitting me and twisting me around." The crash severely damaged Stannard's left foot, with Stannard describing it as if he stepped on a “bomb.” Doctors had to amputate part of his leg below his knee and changed his once active life, which included running marathons and playing with his daughter. "If you told me, 'You just have to trade your foot to be with your daughters for the rest of your life,' that's a trade that I would make all day long." Stannard said his goal is to rehabilitate and run next year’s Los Angeles Marathon.

ALERT: Ex-billionaire who sought to have 50 children with “Aryan” woman sentenced to 12 years in prison. Greg Lindberg, 55, a North Carolina billionaire, spent roughly $30 million on private jets, $21 million “in connection with various women,” and another $12 million on yacht expenses. Lindberg siphoned over $2 billion in an insurance fraud scheme that stole money meant for retirees and policyholders. Lindberg would conceal the fraud with sham loans, circular transactions, and false finances. While federal employees were investigating Lindberg, Bloomberg News found he was running a “baby project” to father as many as 50 children through a network of surrogacy and egg donation centers. Bloomberg found that Lindberg specifically pursued women with blonde hair and blue eyes that former associates described as “Aryan.” 25 women have been tied to the operation, with some accusing Lindberg of lying to them, saying the eggs would be donated to an anonymous couple, but instead Lindberg used them for himself. Bloomberg also found that Lindberg, a father of 12, spent a lot of money to recruit women through yacht parties, luxury events, and match-making services. While operating these events, Lindberg would run surveillance that conducted background checks and monitor prospective romantic partners. Lindberg sued Bloomberg for defamation, but the case was thrown out by a federal judge in Florida. Court filings revealed bizarre personal notes about living to 120, “longevity research,” and cloning.

UPDATE: Authorities have located and arrested the woman who brought her kid to rob a mausoleum in Harris County, Texas. Harris County Precinct 5 Constable Terry Allbritton's Office conducted a thorough investigation, which led to the arrest of 37-year-old Renee Amber Fennel. Fennel robbed crypts of jewelry, keepsakes, and valuables from the Memorial Oaks Cemetery with her toddler. During the arrest, Fennel's toddler was present and was handed over into the custody of a relative. Fennel was charged with two felony counts of burglary and theft from a graveyard. Fennel has a lengthy criminal history in Harris County, including arrests for forgery, theft, possession of a controlled substance, driving while intoxicated, and assault.
