My beloved brethren, this is Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo. My heart is heavy. My eyes are filled with tears. Since hearing the story of little David Raymond, I have struggled to find the words. How can a 13-year-old child carry such unbearable pain? How can a boy wake up one morning and discover that the world he knew has disappeared? David lies on a hospital bed today, fighting for his life after a bullet ripped through his back and stomach, leaving him in unbearable pain. While doctors fought through the night to save his life, the bodies of his father, Raymond Maichibi, and his mother, Nanlop Raymond, were lowered into a mass grave alongside many other innocent people from their community. The most heartbreaking part is that David has not yet been told that his parents are gone forever. His loved ones cannot find the strength to tell him that he is now an orphan. Imagine the moment when that young boy opens his eyes, asking, "Where is my father? Where is my mother?" knowing that no one has the courage to answer him. David recalled that armed men entered their home in the darkness of the night. His father stood between death and his son. Like every loving father, he tried to protect his child with his own life. He was shot. His mother hid in fear, praying that somehow she would survive, but she too was killed. David tried to escape, but a bullet struck him from behind. What kind of pain is this? What kind of world allows children to carry wounds that no child should ever know? Our Lord Jesus Christ said in 16:33, "In this world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world." Today, I ask the Church across the world not to grow weary. We cannot become silent while our brothers and sisters continue to suffer. We cannot close our eyes while innocent children are left without fathers, without mothers, without homes, and without hope. The Word of God tells us in 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." David may have lost his earthly parents, but I pray that the God who calls Himself the Father of the fatherless will surround him with His unfailing love. May the Lord heal every wound in his body and every scar in his heart. Brethren, please remember David in your prayers. Pray for his surviving siblings. Pray for every grieving family. Pray for every widow. Pray for every orphan. Pray for every community living in fear. And as long as God gives me breath, I will continue to speak. They may say I speak too much, but how can I keep quiet when children are burying their parents? How can I remain silent when families are wiped away overnight? As the Lord declares in 31:8–9, "Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves... defend the rights of the poor and needy." May God comfort every broken heart. May He strengthen the weak. May He heal David Raymond completely. May He bring justice, peace, and hope to every suffering family. In Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.

Today was one of the most painful days of my ministry. With tears in my eyes and a heavy heart, I stood before 22 coffins as I conducted the mass burial of our brothers and sisters in Christ who were brutally killed on the night of June 21 in Kawel, Mushere, Bokkos LGA of Plateau State. As I looked upon the grieving families, I saw widows whose husbands would never return home, children whose parents would never hold them again, and parents burying the children they had prayed and sacrificed so much for. The cries of sorrow pierced my soul. No words seemed enough to comfort such unimaginable pain. These 22 precious souls were not numbers. They were fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, and faithful followers of Jesus Christ. Last night they went to sleep hoping for tomorrow, but violence stole their lives and left their families brokenhearted. As we lowered their bodies into the ground, I could not help but ask: How many more innocent Christians must be buried before the world hears our cries? How many more tears must be shed before peace returns to our communities? Yet even in our sorrow, we hold on to God's promises. The Bible says, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." (Psalm 34:18). Today, I pray that God will draw near to every grieving family and give them strength beyond human understanding. O Lord, heal our land. Comfort the widows. Protect the orphans. Wipe away the tears of Your people. Let the blood of the innocent cry out no more. May justice prevail, and may Your peace reign over Plateau State and all of Nigeria. Though their bodies rest in the earth today, their faith remains a testimony that death cannot silence. We will remember them. We will mourn them. And we will continue to pray that God brings healing to our wounded land. May their souls rest in perfect peace.

Beloved in Christ, For the past two weeks, I have been in this camped cave, away from noise, distractions, and comfort not for myself, but in deep prayer and intercession for the Body of Christ around the world. As we approach the new year, I ask you from the depths of my heart: How prepared are you spiritually, emotionally, and purposefully? Each new year comes with new dreams, new visions, but also new battles, new temptations, and new spiritual warfare. This is why the Body of Christ must rise. We must be each other’s shield, defender, and covering. 1 Corinthians 12:26 says, “If one part suffers, every part suffers with it.” I declare: Wherever your name is mentioned for good or for evil may the Body of Christ rise and speak for you. May the blood of Jesus, which unites us, fight for you, protect your family, and guide your steps. I use my journey to this quiet place of prayer as a point of contact to every Christian facing crisis, persecution, or loss around the world. You are not alone. We are one in Christ. Stay strong. Stay prepared. Let 2026 meet you rooted in Christ. In Jesus name, Amen.

Another mass burial today… in Reverend Ezekiel Dachomo’s village, Riyom. Just two days ago, Fulani herdsmen came two lives gone, many left broken and bleeding. Tears still flow… hearts still ache… and the soil is yet again soaked with sorrow. 27/03/2026

They inflict unimaginable pain on the most vulnerable. They burn homes, shatter families, and leave behind rivers of tears. They create countless widows who cry themselves to sleep, and orphans who wake up every day asking where their parents have gone. Yet still, they dare to call these wicked acts worship. 😥 How can cruelty be lifted to God as sacrifice? How can bloodshed be mistaken for faith? The Bible reminds us clearly that God is not pleased with violence done in His name. “For the Lord loves justice, and does not forsake His saints” (Psalm 37:28). God hears the cry of the brokenhearted. He sees every tear of the widow and every silent prayer of the orphan. “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit” (Psalm 34:18). To harm the innocent is to stand against God Himself. Scripture says, “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil” (Isaiah 5:20). No act of hatred, no shedding of innocent blood, can ever be called worship before a holy God. Yet even in this pain, we hold on to hope. The God of justice will arise. “He will defend the afflicted among the people and save the children of the needy; He will crush the oppressor” (Psalm 72:4). May God comfort the widows, protect the orphans, heal the wounded, and let His justice speak where human voices have been silenced. Amen.

With a heavy and broken heart, I, Ezekiel Dachomo, together with my brother Alex Barbirwas, went to Jato Aka to grieve with families who lost their loved ones in the recent attack by Fulani herdsmen. We went to stand with the widows, the orphans, and the brokenhearted. When we arrived at the mortuary to see the bodies of our people, it was locked. We were told the attendant had been taken away by unknown youths.

A Cry to the World: The Tears of Nigeria's Widows Must Not Be Ignored My dear brothers and sisters around the world, My name is Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo, and today I write with a heart that is broken beyond words. I am not writing because of politics or personal gain. I am writing because the cries of countless widows and fatherless children are rising to Heaven, while much of the world remains silent. Every week in Nigeria, families are torn apart by violence. Men who left home to protect their communities, soldiers who swore to defend their nation, immigration officers who faithfully served, and innocent civilians have lost their lives. Behind every fallen man is a wife whose world has collapsed, children who will never again hear their father's voice, and parents left to bury the children they raised. The number of widows continues to grow. The number of orphans continues to rise. Homes that were once filled with laughter are now filled with mourning. Countless women now carry the unbearable burden of raising children alone, struggling to find food, shelter, and hope. The Holy Scriptures remind us, "Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed." — Psalm 82:3 God also declares, "A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in His holy dwelling." — Psalm 68:5 If God Himself is the Defender of widows, then how can we remain silent while their numbers continue to increase? This is not just a statistic. These are human lives. These are mothers who cry themselves to sleep every night. These are children asking questions that no one can answer: "Why did my father never come home?" As followers of Christ and as members of one human family, we cannot become comfortable with suffering. We cannot normalize bloodshed. Every life lost leaves behind a family carrying wounds that may never heal. Jesus said, "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted." — Matthew 5:4 But comfort must also move us to compassion and action. We must pray for peace, support those who have lost loved ones, encourage justice, and stand with those whose voices are too weak to be heard. I appeal to governments, humanitarian organisations, churches, and every person of goodwill: do not look away. Do not allow these grieving families to suffer in silence. Let us work together to protect innocent lives, care for widows and orphans, and pursue peace with justice. The Bible commands us in James 1:27, "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress." May we not merely read these words but live them. To every widow who reads this, know that your tears matter. God has not forgotten you. To every orphan, your life has value and purpose. And to everyone reading this around the world, I ask you to remember Nigeria in your prayers and to stand with all who suffer because of violence. May the Lord heal our land, comfort every broken heart, protect those who serve, and grant us a future where no child must grow up without a parent because of violence.
