I’m SO PROUD of Allie Beth Stuckey for respectfully and clearly pressing JD Vance about the “Israel Derangement” in some corners of the “right.” “The obsession that some ppl have…with blaming ALL of their problems on Israel, ALL of their disagreements with Trump on some secret Israeli influence. I’m not saying all of those people hate every Jewish person, but it seems to get there REALLY FAST. Candace viciously mocks Erika: “People online- they’re just saying that they want me to die! I’m just so overwhelmed, Mr. Vice President…*Dab, dab, dab – no tears*…I just don’t want my kids to be an orphan, Mr. Vice President!” This is coming from the woman who has CAUSED the death threats that could very realistically orphan Erika’s kids. If this doesn’t turn your stomach, then you’re given over to the same spirit that has afflicted Candace. There just aren’t adequate words for how dark this woman’s soul has become.

Many ppl ask me (and others defending Erika Kirk) why we care. We don’t work for Turning Point USA. We didn’t know Charlie. We don’t know Erika. In his show yesterday, Ben Shapiro answered: “I don’t think you have to be friends with somebody to defend their widow… I think actually you can just defend the widows of people who got shot from conspiracy theories about how THEY did the shooting.”

The battle is btw the “American Exceptionalists” & the “Bipartisan Grievance Party.” American Exceptionalists: “America is awesome. We have historically been awesome, and we will be awesome again if we do the hard things that we must do.” Grievance Party: “America is not awesome, was never awesome, and will only be awesome if we fundamentally rewrite the American bargain and also retreat from the world for our great sins.” He says this battle will define our future as Americans.

That’s ridiculous, and I’ll prove it with a POSITIVE clip earlier in the episode. Ben praised the VP’s intellect, saying, “It’s always pretty funny when a dude with a 130+ IQ has conversations with people who barely crack triple digits.” Ben complimented Vance’s political skills, said he’s at his best in these adversarial face-offs, praised his congenial affect, and agreed with all of the VP’s points against the ladies of The View. It’s hard to fathom how deeply the Turning Point USA staff has been betrayed these past six months. On the show today, Andrew Kolvet explains how he thought he could trust Joe Kent, shared Charlie’s group chat with him, & then the chat was leaked to millions by Candace: “I was told I could trust Joe Kent. I provided the screen grabs to Joe Kent… Joe did message me and suggest that I make those screen grabs public. I declined because those were shared privately. I didn’t want to be reckless with them in the public… But then fast-forward another week or two, and they were made public.” So the leaker was either Kent or his staff, and based on his smiling selfies with Candace, the answer seems clear. At this point, I think it’s very likely that he’s guilty of other leaks, as well.

Tucker uses “language that signals that the question has already been settled.” Once you see it, you can’t unsee it. Jeremy points out that Tucker uses phrases like “universally recognized” and “obviously” to skip the argument entirely. “They’re telling you the verdict is already in- that reasonable people have already agreed and that to ask for evidence is to embarrass yourself.” Jeremy’s team analyzed 23 episodes of Tucker’s show and found HUNDREDS of examples of Tucker declaring certainty when there was none. One important point in today’s episode (I left the title in today 😉): Ben Shapiro set the record straight on the layoffs. It wasn’t 50%. It wasn’t 20%. It was 13%. Nowhere near the breathless reports. He said, “I’m personally working to find places of employ for as many of these people as I possibly can because everybody who we let go deserves a job somewhere else.” While the haters celebrated, Ben points out that the Daily Wire’s hirings and firings are only news at all bc they ARE such a significant American institution.
