University of Jos Students Torture Colleague to Death Over Missing iPhone Imagine spending the night at a friend’s place, only to wake up the next morning accused of stealing an iPhone 16. According to reports, Ibrahim Pilasar Mbaya, a UNIJOS student and model, was accused after the phone allegedly went missing. Instead of reporting the matter to the police, he was allegedly tortured for hours by fellow students. Tragically, he did not survive. Latest reports indicate that the three suspects linked to the alleged torture have now been arrested. If the allegations are confirmed, this is yet another painful reminder that no one should take the law into their own hands. An accusation is not a conviction, and every suspect deserves due process.
