This is so frightening 😱😱 Earlier today around 3pm, a large group of boda bodas with multiple riders were moving together snatching from and harassing people. This goon behavior needs to stop. They are audacious enough to do this near a police station.

The Dangote Refinery could mean a lot for Kenya. So many opportunités for new businesses, jobs opportunities in manufacturing and logistics in and around Lamu. One thing we must ask ourselves as Kenyans is how prepared are we for this investment? Will local businesses get in? Do our young people possess the skills needed to take up these opportunities? Will the local communities see lasting impact? The investment is coming. We must be prepared.

A giant has fallen. Today, we celebrate the life of a great man, my beloved uncle Mzee Mohamed Ega Musa Mohamed, who gracefully lived 102 years, leaving behind a legacy of history and wisdom. His kindness and love were a beacon in our lives and we will miss him deeply. As we say our goodbyes, we carry the belief that Allah, in His infinite mercy, will expand Mzee Mohamed's grave and grant him the highest abode in Jannah. Until we reunite in the gardens of paradise, InshaAllah, his spirit will live on in the fond memories we shared. Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilayhi Raji'un.
