📢Good morning friends, I have something to tell you! My fl house is under contract and I put in an offer on a small farm here, contingent of my home selling so I can use those funds. They counter offered and that counter offer included 6 hens, 1 rooster and 2 very friendly geese. I accepted. I've been eyeballing that farm since late july when I started wanting to move. It's been on the market 8 months, nobody wanted it because the kitchen is in a separate building. The realtor told the owner "just put in a tiny kitchen in the main house " and he said "no, God will send the right person at the right time that will want this house exactly how it is" I think that person is me 🙏

Behold, the world's ugliest soaps 😢 I've never used rose water or rose oil in my soaps before so I had no idea it would behave this way. Soap on a stick! I basically had to glove up and smash the soap batter into the molds. But it smells so good, so that's a plus. Still, it's probably going to the clearance rack soon 😂

Good morning dear friends. I know I haven't been very active here. I've not been feeling good, I've had so much anxiety, fear, it's overwhelming. To top it off I got a bladder infection so I physically feel awful too. I'm sorry to complain so much. I have been thinking about taking Thanksgiving to teddy's birthday (Dec 27) off. Just stopping everything, the website, all of it and focusing on my children, grief counseling, the holidays, and our family. We need rest and a real break from it all. I would come back in January and pick back up. What do yall think?

🐐It all starts with our fresh goat milk that I culture for 36 hours and turn into the creamiest, probiotic-rich, yogurt. 🫒From there, raw shea butter, olive oil, grass-fed tallow, coconut oil, and essential oils are blended together. 🫗A cooled lye solution is then slowly blended with all the above ingredients, my soaps never reach above 90° F, this is to ensure that all the ingredients stay viable. ✔️Lye is a reactant, after its done its job of saponification (turning fat/oil into soap) none remains in the final product. I ensure this through "super fatting" the soap batter, which means adding an additional 5% butters and oils. 📝 True bar soap cannot be made without lye (sodium hydroxide) Even liquid castile soap is made with lye (potassium hydroxid) and its a great mild soap! ❤️ 🫗The soap batter is poured into molds, kept cool, and they harden overnight. 🧼They are then removed from the molds and placed on the shelf to cure and dry for 6-8 weeks. The longer they set, the milder they become. In this video, I'm making Orange and Calendula goat yogurt soap, the orange essential oil is what gives it the nice color at the end.

Why do the directions on the rice always say "Fluff with Fork"? What if I fluff with spoon? What are they gonna do about it??

My sweet Kitty boy. He looks brown in the sunshine. He's 15 years old ♥️ drinks his daily raw goat milk, eats good, and still gets the zoomies with the rest of them.

Button quail are so teeny when they hatch that they can't even use regular bedding/shavings because they'll get lost in it 🤣 That's a mini safety pin box lid as their feeder and a honey bee waterer.

We are so grateful for your support. Our family has been through hell this past year, and everything is so scary and different without my husband, Brad, here. But I know that we are going to be OK. We have you, and we have each other ♥️ I will work hard every day to make him proud. God bless you all
