I watched her step on stage next to four men. Same poses. Same weight class. Same level of conditioning. The crowd went silent during her back double biceps. Not because they were confused — because they couldn't deny what they were seeing. She smiled between poses. They didn't. Bodybuilding has always had a definition of "too much." She just proved the definition was wrong. Intimidating or inspiring — you have to pick one. #ai #femalebodybuilding

Asked 10 muscular women if they have a boyfriend. One guy's date wanted to arm wrestle. He lost. Had to leave. Another's ex told his friends she was "athletic." She weighs 230 lbs of muscle. The last one laughed. "What makes you think I like men? I tried that. They're too fragile." Are they too picky or are most guys just not ready? #ai #muscularwomen

She asked him to spot her once. Once. He couldn't lift the bar off her. She had four plates on each side. 'And?' 'That's a warm-up.' He went to put his arm around her and his arm didn't reach anymore. She opens every jar in the house now. He doesn't even try. Last week she watched him struggle for two minutes before she took it. 'The lid was moving.' 'It wasn't moving.' Things changed. She got bigger. And stronger. And scarier. He's still there though. Intimidating or inspiring — you have to pick one.

He never tried to make her feel smaller. Not once. She's twice his size. His hand disappears inside hers. His friends went completely silent the first time she showed up. She uses him as an armrest. He doesn't complain. He just cooks her dinner every night and lets her win the story about who's tougher. This is either your dream relationship or your nightmare. No middle ground. #ai

She comes to the gym every single day. Same story. "Little men lifting little weights." One asked her to spot him. One plate on the bar. She said, "You are joking, yes?" A man told her she's too big. She said, "No sweetheart. You are too small. There is difference." She arm-wrestled three guys last week. Longest one lasted four seconds. He blamed the table. Table was fine. Biggest guy in the gym squats 400 and everyone claps. She does the same weight for reps and the gym goes silent. Intimidating or impressive? You have to pick one.

She's 7'4". At the coffee shop, the barista looked up at her like she'd seen a giraffe. She was too tall to see her own face in the bathroom mirror, so she squatted. She patted a guy on the head on the sidewalk. He's going to tell that story for the rest of his life. The refrigerator comes up to her collarbone. And she walks through all of it like it's just Tuesday. Inspiring or secretly exhausting? You have to pick one. #ai #heightreveal

Her boyfriend told her to stop lifting because girls with muscles aren't attractive. She didn't stop. Six months later she carried all the groceries up three flights of stairs. Both hands. One trip. He told her she was getting too big. She told him maybe he was getting too small. One year later she doesn't have a boyfriend anymore. She has a waiting list. Intimidating or inspiring?
