some very special Wilbur purrs to thank you all for the kind words of encouragement and generous donations toward his growing vet bills 🩷🩷🩷 he's even making you biscuits with his good arm! love you all

guess who got her buttons/jaw sutures and feeding tube out today!!! she has not stopped eating, chirping, purring, and playing since we got home 🥹 I'm so proud of perfect little Wonton, she's the most resilient girl in the entire world

nobody adopted this cat so now he's at the rescue because I'm weak and didn't want to see him released back outside but he is so huge and too big for our kennels and isn't having a great time tbh please adopt Stromboli! he is a good boy! 📍 SF Bay Area

trying to show you guys how cute Smokey is before we head to his ortho consult but someone is being disruptive

me: ok we can't take in anymore cats, we don't have the space old street jank: I don't need much, look, I found my own spot. you won't even notice I'm here 🥺

I just visited her - she's purring, loving pets, and in good spirits. This kitten is trying to make biscuits in her splints... my heart is in pieces.

📍 SF BAY AREA good morning from Taffy, the senior cat left in the stroller. He's sad, confused, and so stressed. I try to spend time with him and get through to him, but he's so on edge and desperate for attention that he gets overstimulated and swats and chomps.

we're so full right now but I couldn't say no to this senior boy who was living in a colony and was hit by a car. It happened 2+ weeks ago but I was just alerted to the situation yesterday. His pelvis is broken and his hind leg is now necrotic and infected and so painful.

This is Lentil. He’s about 7.5 weeks old and half the size he should be - he’s a runt but also very skinny. Lentil has a condition called Flat Chested Kitten Syndrome. His chest is compressed and his lungs aren’t able to expand properly.

who else up celebrating the one year anniversary of plummeting 5 stories down to the pavement and somehow surviving!!! oh just us?? it's a party over here!

lost in the sauce

hard to watch, but this is what stomatitis does to street cats who are left without vet care, suffering in pain until they eventually die from being unable to eat or drink if you'd like to help me save this guy and more like him, please pitch in:

live wonton update: she let a bug into the apartment and can't catch it because it's actually bigger and scarier than she thought it would be so she ran back out to the catio and gave herself a pep talk before returning to the scene

I don't know why she tolerates this

Wonton looking at the camera like "yeah he loves me, sucks to be you" you're right girl it does

I am exposing Wonton for getting into the bag of stuff you guys sent from the rescue wishlist, stealing not one but SEVERAL pink spring toys, and playing with them all simultaneously with 0 remorse

I would kill and also be killed for this weird little cat

We're so grateful for everyone who sends us Chewy gift cards so we can have packing paper parties 😌 (the litter, prescriptions, and food is helpful too)

I just love this little weirdo so much he's absolutely ridiculous

then we discovered our love of churu

Peaches hasn't been interested in playing for weeks, so I almost cried today when he heard a jingle and came running :')

got to play my favorite game "find the abandoned cat in the foreclosed hoarder house" today

breaking both of your arms, your jaw, your entire face, undergoing 2 intense surgeries within 48 hrs, having your jaw sutured shut and a feeding tube in your neck = not enough to stop Wonton from enjoying a saturday night churu

thought I was going to get some sleep last night but I got word of a senior stray who was attacked by dogs and then hunkered down in a wet box she found unfortunately telling me an old cat is Damp and Sad is the #1 way to get me to drop everything and disobey traffic laws

Wonton has things to say

oh she's bonkin' around!!

Guy who is finally done with surgeries to fix his broken little body!!! Bravest boy in the whole world :)

realizing it looks like she just sleeps all the time but trust me she is Very active and gets away with everything because she is the princess of the house

I truly believe Lentil was put on this earth to humble Wonton

Wonton is panicking because I won't let her eat cinnamon toast crunch

thriving, bonking, emitting cute noises... she has a recheck with her surgeon tomorrow!

when Wonton was in critical condition and had a CT scan, everyone was shocked that she didn't sustain a brain injury. now I understand how... it's hard to injure something you simply do not have

hard to watch, but this is what stomatitis does to street cats who are left without vet care, suffering in pain until they eventually die from being unable to eat or drink if you'd like to help me save this guy and more like him, please pitch in:

Smokey is feeling so much better :) as promised, he's getting right back to work making biscuits for everyone who has donated toward his care

goodnight from me and the Dweebert ❤️‍🩹 thank you for all your kind words, support, and donations for the guy 🥹 also if you were caring for Dweeb you would have Weruva Kitten pate in your hair too. don't judge

I put Moonpie and Chickpea together this weekend for space reasons (they'd never met) and now I'm watching them just be girls together ✨

me: just trying to go to bed after another exhausting day Wonton:

surprise intake tonight... this man was out on the streets looking a fool in front of all the other cats with his head all tilted. extremely embarrassing but he's safe now and will get a work-up tomorrow to see what's going on

Wonton when she wants the tube feeding to be over so she can roll around and play freely. "god you're too slow just let me do it" also peep her new giraffe bonkers 🥹 her surgeon says it's still looking great. x-rays in 2 weeks!
