I tried bass fishing at a spot on the way home today I regret it. Lots of weeds that feel like sandpaper so my legs are cut up. No fish caught :/

I fished a section of river I almost never fish cause there usually isn’t any trout here but recent floods have pushed fish really far down from the hatchery. I caught like 30 trout, even kept a couple for dinner :3

Went microfishing in the snow :3 it’s very cold

Oh and it’s articulated so it’s got movement! I also put lead wire under each hook so it’s a little heavier, it allows the back hook to move a little better too with that extra weight on it

No fishing this week. Busy with school and also we are about to get slammed with a massive snowstorm. I did happen to stop by one of our local wild trout streams though to watch the trout. Try and see if you can spot them in this video. They blend in surprisingly well

I decided to come back here for a new catch and cook video today. It went even better than last time. Caught giant trout and a ton of bass. The trout were very tasty. Expect a new video soon :)

I couldn’t bring any fishing gear with me to Washington so today I went out and bought the cheapest fly rod and gear I could find. It payed off though. Cause my first ever native cutthroat trout. And it was a huge one too
