When you stop negotiating down, you stop filtering for people who can’t afford you. And I don’t just mean financially, I mean energetically & psychologically too. People who can’t afford you NEED you to be smaller. They need the discount to confirm something they already believe which is that you’re not really that expensive / not that in demand / not that certain. So understand that your price is SUPPOSED to make some people uncomfortable. Plus, the right people won’t even blink, bc to them it’s normal. So stop lowering your price! Stop making yourself affordable to people who were always going to undervalue you! Let them go find someone cheaper.

Love this Emma Grede interview. Her approach feels like the cleanest expression of the law of assumption in a business context… - she assumes she belongs in every room, so she does - doesn’t identify with circumstances - has a strong self-concept which constantly updates - collapses time by deciding / doing first without proof - truly believes she’s valuable, so she creates value What she’s articulating here (whether she knows it or not) is a form of god-consciousness. She clearly doesn’t view life or business as something happening TO her, rather she sees herself as the stable force everything else moves around. This is how you move if you want to be successful. You do not personalise, you do not assume you have bad luck, the universe hates you, it’s not a good time, etc. Those are all excuses. Understand that YOU are the constant variable. Things move for you, they orbit you.
