To the Honourable Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi यदा यदा हि धर्मस्य ग्लानिर्भवति भारत । अभ्युत्थानमधर्मस्य तदात्मानं सृजाम्यहम् ॥ This is our call to the Rakshak. A retired Army Special Forces Officer, who once stood guard for this nation, is now standing guard outside his own home beside a broken doorframe, not knowing who might come next. He has been insulted and beaten. An 80-year-old woman, who planted the first sapling here in 1972, now sits reading a notice that suggests even her name may be a distraction from the Auroville list covering her home. A father stands with his children before a burnt cluster of stumps where a forest once stood, trying to explain why the trees they grew up climbing are no longer there. People from 45 countries who chose Auroville as their home and who came to Bharat not merely to visit, but to build, serve and belong; now lie awake wondering whether their next visa renewal could be the last letter they ever receive from the country that has become part of their hearts. Honourable Prime Minister , this is not a land dispute on paper. This is a soldier. An 80-year-old woman. Children losing the forest they knew. Families afraid of losing the only home they have built. These are people quietly grieving. And I am asking you for just five minutes. Let me stand before you. Let me tell you what we have not been able to say to anyone else. Honourable Prime Minister, you have been called the Rakshak. Today, Auroville is calling. Please listen.
