🎉 Happy 36th birthday to Ian Nepomniachtchi! 🎂♟ With a career-high rating of 2795 and a peak world ranking of No. 2, Ian became only the second player to win the FIDE Candidates Tournament in consecutive editions (2021 and 2022). He also shared the 2024 FIDE World Blitz Championship title with Magnus Carlsen. The game featured here comes from that dramatic World Blitz Championship final.
