Wow!! I was just about to go live on air, and the ITN building was completely evacuated! Susanna Reid had just announced me live on ITV Good Morning Britain when the fire alarms went off, so everyone had to leave the studio immediately! Unbelievable, a burglar broke into this florist shop in Burnley near our Bank of Dave & they smashed the windows & stole money & caused damage, NOT ONCE BUT TWICE!! IN A WEEK! The Bank of Dave stepped in to pay for both the repairs on the windows & help the lovely ladies who are trying so hard to make their small flower business work in tough times! We have a real problem! Online credit card services are down! How are people going to pay for their train tickets home tonight Avanti West Coast? Everyone still needs access to cash! We are not ready for a cashless society; it just does not work! High street Banks are closing 54 branches a month. 15,000 free-to-use cash machines have now disappeared! Toys were expensive, so my dad made me these for Christmas in the shed in our backyard, for my action man. We didn't have a lot, but we made the best of what we had and the toys have lasted decades, and my grandchildren play with them now, which is wonderful and reminds of my Dad
