💬 19. What was the worst experience Jingjing has ever had? 🐯: “The worst experience was probably when I went to South Korea for work. Do you remember when there was an outbreak of diarrhea in Thailand? I got infected, and it happened while I was on a plane. Before boarding, I already felt a little unwell, but I thought it would be fine. As soon as I got on the plane, I ordered a cup of instant noodles. I had also eaten seafood beforehand. Not long after eating the noodles, I started feeling nauseous and had to rush to the bathroom to throw up. After I vomited, I panicked, and the flight attendants were worried too. They asked me, ‘Are you okay? Are you feeling airsick?’ I told them, ‘No, I’ve never had motion sickness on a plane before.’ Then, throughout the roughly six-hour flight, I kept vomiting and having diarrhea. By the time we landed and I reached the gate, I couldn’t take it anymore. I had to go to the bathroom again, and it got so bad that I even had to throw away my underwear. That was probably the most exhausting experience of my life—having severe diarrhea and being completely alone without my parents there with me. The next morning, I still had to wake up and go to work. I was putting on my makeup while constantly running to the bathroom to vomit and have diarrhea. And that day, I had to do an outdoor sports bra advertisement photoshoot in -17°C weather! 🥶 By lunchtime, while everyone else was eating rice, I had to go to the hospital to get an IV. After that, I got up, ate a little porridge, and then went back to take more photos. We immediately called our manager to come pick us up. He drove the van and took us to the hospital for IV fluids. While I was at the hospital, I took a photo and posted it on my Instagram Story to show that I was sick. Then someone came over and said, ‘Don’t do that. People in Korea don’t like it. Posting a story about being sick makes it look like you’re trying to get attention.’ At that moment, I didn’t understand what was happening. I just felt embarrassed, and I cried. My father even called and told me, ‘If you’re too tired, just come home, my child.’ That night, I lay there on the bed crying alone.🥺 #janjingjing #jingjingyu
