I’m really pleased with how Ralph’s physique has developed over the past 5 months. Good food & regular exercise are paying dividends and he’s developed a great pair of shoulders and thighs on him. Coat condition is good & he’s so much happier as well. #RescueRalph #Lurcher

Another of Ralph scanning the fields while out on our walk earlier. Sighthounds are blessed with stereoscopic vision, which means they can see small moving objects from around half a mile away. Here, he’d spotted a lady and her dog roughly half a mile from where we were. 👀

Ol’ Muttley’s not been too good today. He’s been confused and has had a couple of accidents. 😔 I was due to join the lads in the pub to watch the rugby, but I can’t leave him when he’s like this. So it was a spin on the turbo trainer while watching the rugby! 🏉

I put the empty yoghurt pot on the kitchen worktop while I went upstairs to sort out some laundry. While I was up there, Ralph (the long legged galoot), snaffled the empty pot and took it back to the couch with him! 🤨 This is what I came down to. 🙄😂 #LarcenousLurcher

I’m often asked if my cats get on with Ralph as he’s a Lurcher. Lurchers are used for hunting small furries and their prey drive means that many shelters won’t rehome them if there’s a cat present. I’ve been patient introducing them and it’s finally paying off. #RescueRalph

Now that I’ve finished vacuuming the house, it’s time to give his Lordship the once over. I’m using the handheld vacuum on him as the other one is really powerful and would probably vacuum him bald! 😬😂

It’s been a perfect day to enjoy a stroll along the beach with Ralph. Where there’s hope, there’s life. 8 months ago, he was facing being euthanised as his previous owner no longer wanted him. Today, he’s loved and happy and thoroughly enjoying life. 🐾🐾 #RescueRalph.

Lurchers and cats can’t always get along. Lurchers by their very nature like to chase small furries. Ember the cat was asleep on his bed with him but jumped up as I grabbed my phone to film it. They’re both waiting for their sausages to arrive. 😽🐾🐾 #Adoptdontshop
