Ronaldo Nazário Was Embarrassing Defenders for Fun in a Brazil Shirt… 🥶🇧🇷 At his explosive best, Ronaldo Nazário was arguably the most terrifying striker football had ever witnessed. Blessed with frightening acceleration, extraordinary close control, incredible balance and devastating finishing ability, O Fenômeno could make even the world’s finest defenders look completely helpless. His trademark stepovers, sudden changes of direction and outrageous ability to glide past opponents at full speed were simply breathtaking. What made Ronaldo so special was how effortlessly he combined dazzling technical ability with ruthless goalscoring instinct. He could leave three defenders trailing behind him, round the goalkeeper as though he wasn’t there and casually roll the ball into an empty net. Representing Brazil, he scored 62 goals in 98 appearances, winning two World Cups and producing one of the greatest individual tournament performances in history with eight goals at the 2002 World Cup. The speed, the skills, the audacity and the finishing. Prime R9 wasn’t just scoring goals — he was making world-class defenders look like amateurs 🐐💛

Diego Maradona Was More Than a Footballer… He Was a Phenomenon! 🐐🔥🇦🇷 Watching Maradona in his later years, you could still catch glimpses of that unmistakable personality, passion and love for the game. But to truly understand what made him so extraordinary, you have to go back and witness him at his best. Blessed with an almost supernatural connection to the football, Maradona combined breathtaking close control, extraordinary balance, explosive changes of direction and a left foot capable of producing absolute magic. He could glide through entire defences, absorb challenges that would stop most players in their tracks and create something spectacular from seemingly impossible situations. At Napoli, he became something far greater than a club legend, inspiring a city that had long lived in the shadow of Italy’s northern footballing powers to two historic Serie A titles and European glory. To the people of Naples, Diego was a symbol of pride, identity and hope. For Argentina, he delivered one of the greatest individual World Cup campaigns ever witnessed in 1986, carrying his nation to glory and becoming a national icon whose influence stretched far beyond football. His life was complicated, his career unforgettable, and his talent almost impossible to replicate. For millions of people, Diego Armando Maradona wasn’t simply one of the greatest players who ever lived. He was football itself 💙✨

ROY KEANE IS BACK AT IT AGAIN! 😭 This week on the Overlap, he’s coming for revenge on Michael Carrick’s wife Lisa after her tweet about him 12 years ago! 😭 Look at Wrighty’s face! 😭😭😭 After United had lost 2-0 away to Olympiakos in the Last 16 of the Champions League, Carrick gave an interview. Roy was at pitch side and commented that Carrick’s interview was “just like their performance, flat”, saying that the interview like the performance needed “more urgency” and that players keep talking about the “next game” but for some there “won’t be another next game!” 😂 Lisa responded with the tweet above… and that was all… UNTIL NOW! 😂 Check out Keane’s comments below, along with the original interviews that caused the commotion! 👀🍿 Oh… and of course, Manchester United won the second leg 3-0! Robin van Persie Hat-Trick! 🤌🔥❤️🤍🇳🇱

This is Ridiculous! 😂 Senegal’s reserve goalkeeper Yéhvann Diouf was protecting Édouard Mendy’s towel he used to dry his gloves before Morocco’s penalty… 💪 The Moroccan ball boys tried to wrestle it off him and steal it and literally chased him around the pitch! 😭 (Swipe for the video!) 👀🍿 It all worked out for Senegal in the end though as Brahim Díaz’ panenka penalty was saved and Senegal were crowned Champions of Africa! 😍👏🏆💚💛❤️🇸🇳✨ Via: samiha_mg (IG)
