Max Verstappen hands out another criticism on F1's state and sprint races: "I think we shouldnt host a sprint where you cant pass. You have track where u can race and can overtake and there are some places you can not pass and we gonna have sprints there also next year. I mean I am fine I just do my thing and that it. But its not what I like. Track is great but also the problem we have at the moment is with the overtake mode it barly does anything here. You dont really gain a lot in the striaghts so also that with how the rules are with our lovely batteries. Yeah it just doesnt do much you cant even get super close or have a massive overspeed at the moment. So yeah I fully agree we need longer straight or a more of a proper hairpin to overtake. But even with that we need a bigger delta on the straight"

Max on Oval racing "I like watching it. For me its just on Oval. I dont want to do it just for the risk of injury. U know when u hit the fence its not worth it. When u did your stuff in f1 yeah u can win more there and I would probably love that but its not worth the risk of an accident. And hurt yourself really badly. And I know that in F1 that can happen as well but there they are hitting the wall with 370 or what and that is not something I am planning to do and sometimes its not even your fault right? Anything can happen"
