There's an update to this incredible (and disgusting) story. The young man in this video is named Fernando Vazquez - an American citizen, born and raised in Raleigh. Back in November, during the indiscriminate ICE raids all over North Carolina, federal agents stormed his work site, handcuffed him, threw him in the back of a van and drove off, with no explanation, let alone charges. They did that because Vazquez is brown-skinned and speaks Spanish. After positively proving his identity, the ICE agents dumped him on the side of the road, as shown here in the video Vazquez took. They threw his belongings on the ground without so much as an apology. Vazquez and several other Americans abused by ICE thugs are now suing ICE and the federal government for damages, showing that their Constitutional rights as Americans were (clearly) violated.
