Managed to film at the Shahran oil depot in Western Tehran that was targeted by airstrikes last night. The oil still seems to be burning. We saw flames coming from some of the destroyed oil storage tanks. Also destroyed tanker trucks outside the gate. Sorry for audio issues, was windy CNN CNN International Claudia Otto

Caught up with Russian nationalist philosopher Alexander Dugin, seen by some as Putin’s ideological architect and who just wrote a book called “the Trump Revolution” - I asked him about Western fears that Donald J. Trump might be closer to Putin than to the U.S.’s allies. CNN Dugin: : “Yes, it's so. I agree that it’s obvious, that is obvious. He is much more conservative. He is in favour of traditional values. He is in favour of the patriotism of the nation, and I define that as the great power's world order. Putin and Trump coincide in accepting this model instead of liberal globalism.”

Some air strikes in Tehran around dawn Monday. Seemed to come from the South West of the city. After the massive Saturday strikes on some of Tehran’s oil storage facilities the skies have cleared somewhat, but the fires in the destroyed storage tanks still seem to be burning. Also, the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps’s Quds force, the foreign operations branch of the IRGC, has pledged allegiance to Iran’s new Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei.
