BREAKING: Spiteful Colorado House Democrats PUNISH Republicans by calling a RARE Saturday Session of the General Assembly! Saturday, April 11th is the Republican Party of Colorado's State Assembly in Pueblo. At this important annual meeting, Republican Statewide Candidates will be voted on including Governor and US Senate candidates. Democrat Leadership is upset that House Republican Rep. Brandi Bradley asked for the Budget to be read at length and the other attempts by Republican members to stand up for their communities. Colorado Republicans who are currently serving in our State Legislature are now torn between attending the State Convention or the Saturday Legislative Session. Democrat Majority Leader Monica Duran and Speaker of the House Julie McCluskie are BULLIES who have NO RESPECT for the Republican half of Colorado! Republican voters expect to see their elected Representatives at the State Convention, but these Legislators have important obligations at the State Capitol in Denver. If the Democrat Leadership had goodwill towards Colorado's non-Democrats, they would have waited to reconvene the House until Monday! This is a purely political move to weaken their Republican colleagues and spit on Republican voters!

Taggart voted to TAKE YOUR TABOR TAX REFUND FOREVER! This bill ROBS COLORADO TAXPAYERS of $1 Billion Each Year! Last year, Taggart voted to increase taxes and just last week Taggart voted for HB26-1206 which will allow NEW SALES TAX schemes of "affordable" high-density housing schemes that will be built OUTSIDE of local control!

BREAKING: After 3 Hours of debate, HB26-1281 narrowly passes the House on third reading.. This bill lowers the penalty for murder in cases of "extreme indifference" with some exceptions... Before this bill takes effect, a person can be charged with first degree murder "when an individual knowingly engages in conduct with an attitude of universal malice manifesting extreme indifference to the value of human life generally that creates a grave risk of death to a person or persons, and which conduct causes the death of another person." For example, someone shoots into a crowd or randomly kills someone by acting in "extreme indifference" to human life. After this bill takes effect, to be found guilty of First Degree Murder caused by "extreme indifference," a criminal would have to kill "more than one person, a child under 12, a first responder," or kill "one person and also cause serious bodily injury to two of more persons by means of a deadly weapon." Otherwise, just killing one person with "extreme indifference" will only result in Second Degree Murder... That's right, literal murderers will have lower penalties thanks to Colorado House Democrats...

The Colorado State Legislature and the Governor have exceeded their authority. They are planning on OUTLAWING the use of Natural Gas in Colorado homes. This means no gas furnace, no gas water heater, no gas stove, no gas fireplace, etc. It’s a complete abuse of power and wholly illegitimate. This political authoritarianism is a reminiscent of a policy the Soviet Union or Communist China would enact. The Public Utilities Commission (PUC) is appointed by the Governor and they deserve blame. But most of the blame belongs to the Democrat-majority State Legislature who are forcing these policies upon us. In this video, Brandon explains this recent policy decision by the PUC and how you can speak out and stand up.

SB26-135 just got a Fiscal Note that shows $800 Million would be LOST in tax refunds (and that's just in the first year!) This is extremely irresponsible for politicians to push a de facto tax increase in these tough times! Please show up and speak against SB26-135, this Thursday March 12th!
