Tale of two rope drops this morning. Disneyland vs. DCA. What could be the cause of such a disparity of crowds at the gates?

Shoutout to this imagineer who was busy putting some finishing touches on the turnaround, but was moved by the Mark Twain passing by. I love how much they love Disneyland.

Today I had the good fortune to ride Indiana Jones Adventure with THE John Rhys Davies. Sallah himself. A singular experience to say the least. He could not have been cooler.

Today on our State of DCA report, I ponder what I would do if I ran California Adventure. I have strong opinions about some things, but perhaps none stronger than what I would do with the new Coco ride when it opens.

They’re going to put those new Cars attractions in Magic Kingdom where? Not a fan. I’m a DL guy though. I know my vote probably doesn’t count for much. What do WDW regulars think?

Big Thunder is open!?! This is SO UN-Disney. But in the best possible way. No news. No update on the refurb calendar. They just...opened it. All hands on deck!

We called it in this morning’s construction video, and today it’s begun. Walls going up at the esplanade ticket booths at Disneyland. Porto’s starts soon as well

We often find somewhat mis-leading queues like the one here Web Slingers. Some are hard to read because of hidden sections, or sections that can be open or chained off (chain maintenance). This is why we often say that if you're thinking about getting in a queue, don't just look at the posted wait time. Take a minute and really look.

The esplanade ticket booths are officially no more. Only ones left are for DAS guests. Is Disney forgetting about this guest? The guest who just wants to show up and buy a ticket?

Next time you're at Disneyland, don't just walk directly to Space Mountain. Take a Main Street vehicle. They're free!
