Many had a great time at #Bitcoin2023 #Bitcoin #Miami this year. It was the first I’ve ever attended. Sadly, few in #Crypto twitter will invest precious resources into actually meeting and getting to know “influencers”. It’s far too convenient to paint all with the same brush and to color someone on a whim. This week I saw gifting of time and affiliation of spirit. I saw humility, vanity, ego and volunteerism. It makes you realize that these are people. We each have abundant strengths in character to go along with some flaws. I said it many times this weekend. I respect the bravery required to be a public figure. You are praised in private and roasted in public. As a #Hexican, I hope to inspire current and future leaders by being effective and thoughtful of outcomes. I practice self review and often consider replacing destructive habits with more useful ones. Be a builder. It’s a far more difficult path for sure, but I assure you, the destination is much more rewarding. Special thanks to Richard Heart for showing courage over these past few years. #Defi is a quickly changing technology that demands attention. I appreciate the bold and resolute like you that get things done. IMO, There’s no one more deserving of respect when you win it from the outside. A lot of mega walle ts have been selling off and taking slippage on the chin. They couldn’t have exited $400 million at all time high in 2021 anyway, but interesting to see. Paying MetMas k fees to boot. “PLS is leverage on ETH” has been the repeated mantra from every influencer it seems. What if ETH goes up, 2 or 3x by end of year and the RH ecosystem hasn’t moved proportionately? What if it actually goes further down? It’s a coin toss on what participants “should do” from here. RH going all but absent and erratic for years along with nothing notable changing on PulseX Dex other than disincentivizing liquidity via 90%+ reduction in yield…seems to be by design to kill belief and force price to drop. “Ethereum has 4000 devs” I’ve never verified as true. “Pulsechain has 14 devs” you’ve never verified as true. Whales or even RH himself via personal addresses (non OA) “might” actually want all time lows on all tokens to be hit. Maybe even lower… But why sell??? Well, 5 tokens hitting astronomical numbers is far easier if charts show a climb from absolute rock bottom. Maybe whales are doing what the OA did …selling and sitting in ETH. Many now expect the “eth treasury” to buy their bags. RH tweet never actually said the sac was a reserve. We all just see what we want to believe. Until ETH is above 2x the OA entry ($7600+) I have doubts about OA rotating much into cores. OA deploying only half of $7800+ eth across the ecosystem while all are below all time Lows has never been done before. That’s basically “1 for you, 1 for me” distribution…just like the design of the Hex contract. OA gets BTC free claims and half of all EES and late penalties. Remember? That concentrates the OA bag. If it continues to never sell, even small inflation is a high percentage of reward to other participants in staking. But, RH, unlike OA, can do whatever he wants. Maybe he has held all along his personal buys. Or, maybe he justifies selling just like any of us would given the chart and macro… Does he choose to “net put more into that coin than you took out”? No one knows. All is speculation. Betting on code design, market fit, founder or community all warrant different odds of failure or success. The question is, ride bags further down now while betting on a magic carpet ride beyond ATH in the future? Can you catch the bottom? Can you? Someone will. I wonder about the future marketing. Will enough cultists, errrmm…maxis, rise to support code and founder strategy in the next cycle? Or will god and Judas candles do all the talking?
