🎙️| Lionel Messi on Enzo Fernández’s potential move to Real Madrid “I spoke to Enzo and I told him to think very carefully before making a decision like that. Chelsea is a huge club. People talk about trophies as if Chelsea cannot win them, but history says otherwise. Sometimes players don’t realise what they have until they leave. I even mentioned Eden Hazard to him. Hazard was one of the best players in the world at Chelsea. Then he went to Real Madrid and things didn’t work out the way anyone expected. Football can change very quickly. Enzo has become a leader at Chelsea. The fans love him, the club trusts him, and he has the chance to build something special there. Not every move to a bigger name on paper ends with a better career. At the end of the day it’s his decision, but if it was me, I’d stay. Chelsea can give him every trophy he wants if the project is given time. Sometimes loyalty is worth more than another transfer.”

🚨🎙️| Jordan Henderson on why he chose to join Chelsea🔵 🗣️“When Chelsea called, I didn’t need convincing. I looked at the project, the manager, the squad… and I saw a team that’s built to win now. Chelsea is the biggest club in England Xabi Alonso is one of the biggest reasons I’m here. His vision for this club is incredible, and working with some of the best young players in world football made the decision even easier. People will be upset because of my Liverpool history, but football moves on. I want medals, and right now Chelsea gives me the best chance of lifting the Premier League and every domestic trophy available. The past will always be respected, but I didn’t come here to relive memories, I came here to create new ones. If that upsets some people, they’ll just have to watch us win.”

🚨 PAUL MERSON: “RICE SHOWED MATURITY, ROGERS MADE A FOOL OF HIMSELF” 🗣️“I don’t think Declan Rice deliberately tripped Morgan Rogers. These things happen in a heated game. What I find silly is Rogers confronting him afterwards. That’s not sportsmanship. If you’re a top Premier League player, you get on with the game instead of trying to create a scene. Declan Rice showed much more maturity by not getting dragged into it. Rogers needs to learn that football isn’t about crying every time things don’t go your way. Chelsea need to focus on playing football rather than looking for excuses.”

🚨| Pep Guardiola on Chelsea selling Nicolas Jackson: 🎙️“I honestly don’t understand this decision from Chelsea. Nicolas Jackson scored more than 20 goals in his first season, and instead of giving him the time to develop, Chelsea are now ready to let him go. This is exactly how clubs end up regretting their decisions. We have seen it before with Kevin De Bruyne and Mohamed Salah. Chelsea moved them on, they developed elsewhere and eventually became world-class players. Look at Jamal Musiala as well. Chelsea had him in their system and let him leave, only to watch him become one of Europe’s biggest talents. Now Chelsea are making the same mistake again with Jackson. He is young. He is still developing. Of course he has weaknesses, but that’s exactly why you give him time. If Jackson leaves and starts scoring 20 or 30 goals somewhere else, Chelsea fans will look back at this decision and ask why the club didn’t simply trust him. And I will say it now: Chelsea will regret selling Nicolas Jackson. They may spend another £100 million searching for a striker who can do exactly what they already had in their squad. Sometimes you don’t realise what you had until it’s wearing another club’s shirt.”

🚨 💣 IAN WRIGHT WARNS CHELSEA: “YOU’LL REGRET SELLING ENZO FERNÁNDEZ TO MAN CITY ON SUNDAY” 🎙️ Ian Wright: “Chelsea will regret this decision on Sunday. You cannot sell a player like Enzo Fernández to a direct rival and then simply decide you don’t need a replacement. They’ve weakened their own midfield while strengthening Manchester City. That is unbelievable business. Come Sunday, when Chelsea are struggling to control the midfield, those same Chelsea fans will be asking one question: ‘Why did we let Enzo go without signing anyone?’ Honestly, Chelsea’s transfer business this window has been shocking. They may have just handed their biggest rival an advantage and called it good business.”

🚨🗣️ Pedro Neto on Enzo Fernández’s future: 👀🔵 “People will criticise Enzo if he decides to leave, but if we’re being honest, most players would make the same decision. He’s been at Chelsea for years now, and what has he achieved? Every season starts with big promises about ‘the project,’ but at some point players stop listening to promises and start looking at trophies. If I were in Enzo’s position and one of the biggest clubs in the world came for me, I’d seriously consider leaving too. In fact, I’d push for the move. Football careers are too short to spend your best years waiting for things to happen. Some Chelsea fans won’t like hearing that, but the reality is simple: elite players want to compete for the biggest trophies every single season. If a club can’t offer that, don’t be surprised when your best players start looking elsewhere. Enzo has nothing left to prove by staying. If he wants to challenge for the Champions League and major titles every year, then nobody should blame him for taking that opportunity. That’s football. Ambition comes before comfort.”

🚨🎙️| Roy Keane on Chelsea signing Emiliano Martínez: 🗣️“Chelsea need to be very careful with this one. If the club are seriously thinking about signing Emiliano Martínez, they need to stop and think again. In my opinion, Robert Sánchez is actually a better goalkeeper for Chelsea. Yes, Martínez has experience and has played at the highest level, but that doesn’t automatically mean he’s the right answer for Chelsea. Replacing Sánchez with Martínez could be a catastrophe. Chelsea don’t need to panic because of one bad performance. They need to make the right decision for the long term, not just bring in a big name because the fans are demanding a new goalkeeper. And I’ll say something that will probably annoy Chelsea fans: if Martínez walks into Stamford Bridge and Sánchez leaves, Chelsea could end up regretting it. Sometimes the goalkeeper you already have is better than the one everyone is begging you to sign. Chelsea fans might laugh at me now, but if this transfer happens and Martínez starts making mistakes, remember who warned you. Don’t turn a goalkeeper problem into an even bigger one.”

🎙️| Enzo Fernández on his future amid links away from Chelsea🔵 “I love Chelsea, I really do. The fans have always supported me and I will always be grateful for that. But as a footballer, I need a team where they are ready to compete and win trophies, not Chelsea. you have to be honest with yourself. If a better opportunity comes along, you have to consider it. When I joined Chelsea, I believed the project would be competing for the biggest trophies every season. Instead, it feels like we’ve been stuck in the same cycle for years. Every season starts with promises, and every season ends with people talking about the future instead of celebrating success. I cannot spend my career waiting for things to happen. I am at a stage where I want to compete, I want to win, and I want to be fighting for the biggest trophies in football every year. Chelsea will always be a big club, but right now I need to think about my ambitions as well. If a club comes that is ready to win now, not in three or four years, then of course I have to listen. Football careers are short. You cannot keep asking players to be patient forever.”

🚨🎙️| Micheal Owen on Chelsea win 4-3 vs Brighton: 🗣️“Chelsea have to be honest with themselves. You can’t spend all summer convincing everyone that the goalkeeper is the missing piece, sign another goalkeeper, and then concede three goals to Brighton. That isn’t bad luck. That is a serious problem. What worries me about Chelsea is the way they keep approaching the transfer market. Every window, there is another signing, another big fee, another reason to believe this is finally the season they challenge for the title. But eventually, you have to see something on the pitch. They talk about winning the Premier League, yet Brighton have just exposed them defensively. If this is what Chelsea look like after all that spending, I genuinely don’t understand where the confidence is coming from. And Chelsea fans need to stop blaming the goalkeeper every time something goes wrong. If you change the goalkeeper and you’re still conceding three, perhaps the goalkeeper was never the real problem. I said before that Chelsea needed to show me they could handle pressure over an entire season. I’ve seen nothing tonight that convinces me they can. At this rate, they’ll be celebrating Champions League qualification while telling everyone they were unlucky not to win the league. They need to wake up. You don’t win the Premier League by collecting expensive players. You win it by becoming a consistent football team. Right now, Chelsea are nowhere near that level.”
