Masaichi Kaneda struck out 4490 batters in his career, holding the overall record from 1962 to 1987. Only Roger Clemens, Randy Johnson and Nolan Ryan have more strikeouts. He also did this with only 2 pitches. A 100 mph fastball, and a devastating 70 mph curveball

Devastated to hear that former Dragons, BayStars and Buffaloes slugger Tony Blanco lost his life in the Jet Set disaster. To remember him, I'd like to share his greatest moment, his 2012 CL Wildcard winning Grand Slam. It's still the last playoff series the Dragons have won.
