pretty incredible to see Patrick Collison casually mentioning to Sam Altman the agentic infra we built in January for Tempo and Paradigm to transform how we work. we indeed use this to orchestrate pretty much anything at both companies. neither paradigm nor tempo can live without this now. it feels like the stone age without it. and because our organizations are so workflow heavy / data rich and we are <100 people, these are the perfect organizations to max deploy ai. it is natively multiplayer, harness agnostic, has secure secret management & firewalls, durable workflows, observable so it can self-improve/heal and most importantly - all self-hosted on bare metal & self-built, end to end. no third parties involved. we have two deploys, one for each company on different machines, but they both have a shared core codebase that's modular and extensible for each company's idiosyncracies. we're looking to do way more things with it. proactive agents remains an open problem for us. we hope to open source it very soon as i've mentioned a few times before. we're adding 1 special eng to that team, dm me + your proof of work if you're epic at infrastructure / security and love hacking things quickly.

Today, we're launching Tempo Zones on the Tempo Testnet. Every zone is private, fast, and interoperable with each other. Zones support MPP for private agentic payments at web scale. See interactive demo below. Zones are also integrated in the Tempo Wallet - test it out at We have two zones live in our documentation for experiencing this on full force: From a technical perspective, Tempo Zones are built on the Reth SDK and they have a few interesting innovations in them: - Interoperability is solved by using the L1 as the pivot point, given fast finality this is really simple. - L1 state is mirrored to the Zone, such as TIP20 tokens and their TIP403 policies. - A stateless EVM executor which can be run inside a TEE or ZKVM for proof verification. Overall very proud of our team's work on this and I think sets us up very well for interoperable, private and scalable blockspace.

Use mpp dot dev guides upgrade-x402.md as reference. Add mppx to my existing x402 server. Use the Tempo payment method with USDC. Keep the same pricing and route structure. Add mppx.charge to each paid endpoint. Point out areas where I could benefit from adding sessions.

Reminder that the Machine Payments Protocol's killer feature is sessions. Use sessions instead of the charge intent to go faster and cheaper. Ideal for high throughput APIs. - 1 onchain transaction to open a session - infinite tiny granularity 0-fee payments bound only by the latency of your API call - whenever you're done, 1 onchain transaction to close a session You don't need to close out. You can open a session once, forever, and then keep topping that up to keep paying your service if you've spent all your balance. Docs:
