Noe wanted to die not long ago but since being operated on his leg and hip he’s doing great ❤️ Yesterday was the great UN-CONING and even better news we are talking with someone about a forever home ☺️ Did you think you would ever see Noe happy after his tragic story?

🌈🌈 This morning has been a tough one as it was time to say goodnight to Triana. She was diagnosed with a tumor on her spine leaving her in pain and unable to walk. Triana came to live with us because she had been diagnosed with cancer back in 2014 and was given a short time to live. However she just went from strength to strength and here we are 12yrs later. Triana was a star on the education classes with Sam. Together they would teach the kids full of enthusiasm and love and Trianas little tail never stopped wagging. She even visited people retirement homes with Sam and made the elderly feel loved. The truth is, Sam was always Triana’s soulmate, they were always so happy to be together. This made me so happy in return. Triana was good as gold with Sam. Always prim and proper. With me she would steal the sandwich straight out of my mouth 🫣😂 and if you left anything on the side… forget it. You won’t see it again. She was a smart and cheeky girl all in one go. She had lots of furry friends and in particular it was Wiggles and Abuela that stayed by her side as she went across the rainbow bridge. She was happy to go. Hopefully waiting for her will be all the retirement dogs she said goodbye to before her. She deserved not to suffer and whilst the tears are falling I know it was the greatest gift to set her free. Big wings Triana.. big wings. We love you so much. RIP princess 💕🌈🌈

Tom was abandoned and sadly was abandoned with leishmania. So frustrating as he would have died. He’s the sweetest boy, just a few years old & loves to chase a ball ⚽️ He’s currently on his leishmania treatment and then will be castrated. Who thinks they can offer this chap a wonderful home 🙏🏻 Plz share ❤️

Kiwi is on treatment for leishmania and the worst has happened. His kidneys were ok but he’s gone into kidney failure very quickly. He’s such a big gentle giant and honestly it’s not looking good. Please send him a nice message 🙏🏻❤️ We need him to make it 😔

We found Noe in distress having kicked away his blankets and positioning himself awkwardly. He looked so defeated. We felt the pain medication maybe wasn’t enough so he went back to emergencies for an increase and a revision as we need to be sure he’s stable enough to be operated on Tuesday. It’s so hard to know how much is pain and much is defeat. He seemed a bit better when we brought him into the sun. What a hard week.

Gorgeous Droplet from the Bucket pups is lagging behind in growth and strength. He is eating so we are just giving him extra recovery food to help boost further but he remains teeny tiny. Mind you, I think he’s wearing more food than he’s eaten 🫣 Send love and hope for Droplet to pull thru 🙏🏻❤️

Katalin didn’t deserve this 😡 We need your help. Katalin has been treated appallingly by a potential adopter and as a result has missed out on other much needed homes. Katalin was reserved for a home in Sevilla. Everything was approved but the adopter wanted to wait until November before picking her up. Just recently we checked in as the time was getting closer to start finalising everything and the adopter told us she had adopted another dog. I can’t believe she wasn’t even going to tell us whilst Katalin was marked as reserved on the webpage. I’ve never felt so appalled at the lack of education by people that claim to care about these dogs. Many of you will say Katalin had a lucky escape. I agree, but she’s lost out on other homes. This leaves me feeling really sad for Katalin mainly because she’s struggling so much in the kennels and does so much better once outside, so going home soon is a must for her. Can we make up for this and share her far and wide to try to find her another home? 🙏🏻❤️ Let’s all together get this worried girl a proper home ❤️ Katalin is a sweet gentle girl approx 3yrs old, very sensitive and will need time to bond. Once she does tho you’ll have a best friend for life ❤️

Rooster 🐔 was caught recently in a trap as he wouldn’t come close to you on the streets. He’s a worried boy but he really wants to grow in confidence… he’s trying so hard. Approx 3.5yrs old, will you share your home with Rooster? He’s chicken safe as he moved with around 30 chickens on the streets if you remember 🫣 Plz share 🙏🏻❤️

Update on Tractor Trev 🚜 It’s not been easy. Firstly he’s got sick again, today he had a fever and his eyes were swollen. It was vital we got him to the vets but as always he’s just so hard to move keeping in mind he doesn’t tolerate a harness and we have to be careful with his neck. We brought Chow again and it kind of worked 😅… for now Trev is back in the vets and having his fever treated and to just keep an eye on him. Send love 🙏🏻❤️

Do you remember Bunnie? She was handed in last year for eating the rabbit after the hunt. Well now her sister has done the same and her friend so guess what? They are no longer wanted. Now safe at GDS both girls need names. What Bunny related🐰 names can you think of?❤️🙏🏻

Sorry no posts today... we found this poor old abused dog whilst trying to rescue a galgo & can't leave without him. We’re working on it. Sadly its so hard to get a denuncia, the police havn't come. He must be in terrible pain so whatever happens we’re taking him today!
