𝗟𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗱 (𝗟𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗙) 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 We are looking forward to hearing the allocation of the LSSIF funding in the coming weeks for our training facility in Mountain South. A joint application for €7 Million between Galway United FC and Athenry Swans Hockey Club was submitted earlier this year and the full allocation is hugely important to develop the versatile, multi-sport training facility aimed at addressing the significant gap in high-performance training amenities needed to support the current and future growth of both football and hockey in Galway and the surrounding areas. We are calling on all local representatives, including councillors, TDs, Senators and MEPs to continue their support for this project and help us secure the funding required.
