Murshidabad today. 13 April 2025. In Kandi subdivision, on occasion of Gajon, ancient Buddha statue procession happens in Kandi town. Bengali women, both Hindu & Muslim touch & pray, from the time when ancestors of both were Buddhists. Communal forces want to destroy this Bengal.

Bangla now made compulsory for West Bengal Civil Service (with Nepali for Darjeeling hills). Non-Bengalis might be surprised to know that Bengali was not compulsory till now in WBCS because primary State language is compulsory in all States. Who is opposing Bangla in Bengal? BJP!
