Every 1020 flex head should be sent to the scrap yard and upgraded to a 30’ Draper. Also Case IH should start production of a pre def 2388 again. I think they could sell a few to young guys who don’t want AF10’s

50 year old planter, 30 year old combine •Non GMO Channel 215-09 @ 30k population •160lbs spring NH3 (Missouri strip till 😉 - mini mole knife) •0-60-90 dry w/ 100lbs AMS •Sip of 3-18-18 in furrow (3-4gallon) Fungicide and cheap insecticide with plane at R2 I’m officially joining the “do the basics and let God take care of the rest” squad. Not sure the in furrow did much for me other than pretty emergence. Probably continue to run a splash along with insecticide since I’m non GM corn.

My version of low management corn 200lbs total N - mole knife spring applied NH3 Lenet Escamilla, let the rain settle ridges. Topdress 40lbs urea at waist high with some sulfur. No-till planted Lewis 1414 Cris pop 3rd week of May. Spray it and forget about. No fungicides, no foo foo juice. Tar spot came in late but didn’t seem to affect it much.
