I am completely blown away!!! It’s midnight and I’ve just wrapped up my first ever day on FSD v14.3.3!! I honestly am in awe at what a professional driver my car is now! It has gone from being a cautious grandma, to an assertive boss!! I doubted some of the guys on a space early this morning that it would be able to handle Australian roundabouts with expertise, and boy was I mistaken!!! This version NAILS roundabouts with ease! Not only does it enter them at a perfect speed, it accelerates out of them with full force and confidence! Legitimately brought a smile to my face. It’s now fully proactive and asserts itself with lane changes and makes sure that it gets into the right lane WELL IN ADVANCE before it has to take an exit. It now also consistently INDICATES every time 2 lanes merge into one. And the moment there’s a speed zone change it reacts immediately to either accelerate or de-accelerate without no delay! Legitimately addresses all the complaints we previously had with FSD here in Australia! Oh! And not to mention, it can find a supercharger in a basement of a building and park automatically now! When before it would bail at tight corners in underground carparks. This version feels like it now honours my time. It’s incredibly fast to react, decisive to make a move and has no hesitation in accelerating quickly to get up to speed. There’s no longer a trade-off with choosing FSD or getting to your destination in a hurry. It’ll make sure you get there safely and effectively! I freaking love FSD!!! First drive and impressions of v14.3.5 Down Under here in Australia 🇦🇺 For starters, Hurry Mode is a lot more refined but simultaneously less assertive. I think this is what the Australian market has been demanding. A mode with less unnecessary lane changes and not as assertive. For this update, I think a lot of Australians are going to be much happier with the new driving style. I am definitely the anomaly. I loved my car being assertive. For myself I suppose I will have to wait for Mad Max mode to land here down under. But for the majority of Australians, my first experience is this will be a welcomed update to how Australians normally drive - conservatively and more polite. I’m just the weirdo. I got a performance for a reason, so I’ll be excited and looking forward to the day the few crazies of us here can enable Mad Max mode. A couple points. It did ignore the no entry exit sign in the carpark. V14.3.3 did this too sometimes. Also I only had 1 example, but the 1 reverse carpark it did for me was a regression and was over a line. V14.3.3 nailed reverse parks consistently, so hopefully this was a 1 time fluke.
