We brought back another game-changing feature to the Geissele HICAR: the high-speed safety selector, better known as the Geissele Gas Pedal. As IED drones become an increasingly common threat on the battlefield, the 90-degree selector offers a distinct advantage over standard 180-degree selectors. In a situation where every second matters, the difference between a standard selector and the Gas Pedal quickly becomes clear.

1-MOA performance at 760 yards out of an 11.5" barrel is a feat we're very proud to achieve out of the Geissele HICAR. While this may seem typical for your average 16-20" competition rifle, the introduction of high-pressure reloads has made this elevated accuracy possible for more compact AR's. 110 SASS Actual recently made a trip out to the Geissele facility to get a behind-the-scenes look at how our rifles are built. Somewhere along the way, mistakes were made — one ODG Super Duty MOD1 took an unexpected drop on the shop floor. We inspected it. Tested it. Then gave it to Count Blemula to mark it as a blem for the giveaway. It’s still exactly what you’d expect from a Geissele, just with a bit more character. To make the experience even better, several of our industry partners stepped in with additional gear and support to turn this into a true one-of-one package. Visit to get yourself entered!
